Camino Grove Elementary School is located in the city of Arcadia in the San Gabriel Valley. It is south of Duarte Road and north of Camino Real between Sixth and Eighth Avenues. There are currently 700 students enrolled in kindergarten through fifth grade. It is one of six elementary schools within the Arcadia Unified School District. Camino Grove reflects the community and state in enjoying a diverse ethnic population.
Camino Grove is proud of its many exciting programs and the progress of its students. The professional staff is committed to academic excellence and strives to provide an innovative instructional program that develops basic skills and critical and creative thinking abilities. In preparation for the challenges of the rapid technological advances of the next century, students must utilize technology to seek information and enhance learning. To this end, Camino Grove focuses on the meaningful integration of technology into a balanced curriculum that is challenging and designed to develop independent lifelong learners. Every classroom is equipped with multimedia computers, e-mail, and the Internet. We realize the importance of technology in the 21st century, and we are committed to preparing our students to be leaders in the technological world.
Camino Grove is committed to providing a quality education for all students. Together our staff, students, and parents continue to improve and expand the variety of programs to meet the needs of all Camino Grove students. We continue to implement new programs, broaden the instructional strategies in the classroom, and strive to develop the skills our students will need to be successful in the 21st century.
