Roadrunners are Responsible, Respectful, and Balanced. The Student Spotlight recognizes and celebrates students who consistently demonstrate Leader in Me habits and show what it means to be Roadrunner Ready. Each week, one student from each grade level will be recognized and spotlighted for their hard work. Students are chosen unanimously by grade level teachers for their commitment to following Leader in Me habits or for their exceptional progress and growth in their habits. Academic performance is not taken into consideration when selecting students.
The criteria consists of three main areas : Responsibility, Respect, and Balance. Leader in Me habits 1-3 fall under the Responsibility category. Habits 4-6 fall under the Respect category. Habit 7 falls under the Balance category. Each week, the student spotlights will be posted on the Camino Grove website and will be recognized during the Monday morning announcements.
